For the first time ever, the Alberta Sheriffs are holding an women’s only, in-person information session. During this session we will provide history of the branch, have some interactive pieces, and feature women who are prepared to share their experiences as sheriffs within the branch.
You will be exposed to the requirements of the PARE testing and other equipment on site. Should you wish to run the PARE, please bring gym clothes and runners. You will also need to bring a medical constant form (found on the Alberta sheriffs website) Sheriffs | Alberta.ca the form must be filled out and signed by a doctor. There will be time allotted at the end of the session for this, if you wish to try it out and see how it feels. We are here to help.
