My name is Sgt Darlene Garrecht and have been with MHPS for 20 years. I have worked in many different areas of the service including Patrols, Special Operations, Mountain Bike, Major Crimes, Family Crime, Professional Standards and currently working in the Community Support Unit overseeing the School Resource Officers and the call centre. I have also had the privilege of working in Recruitment, Crisis Negotiations and a member of our Ceremonial Team. I’m married and we have 3 amazing sons. I have thoroughly loved my job and can’t believe it’s been 20 years. If I had to do it all over again, I would still choose this career.
