International Women’s Day – “Policewoman” video
Join us on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 @ 1230 hours MTN for a special screening of the Calgary Police Service video:
“Policewoman” – a historic look at some of the first women to become police officers in Calgary.
We would love to see you all for a lunch-time matinee to celebrate some of the women who came before us and hear their stories, struggles and how they overcame difficult situations to pave the way for women in policing today! You may even recognize some of our own AWIPS members!
Please join us via Teams (see your calendar invite from AWIPS memberships) for this short, 40 min video and take a moment on International Women’s Day to honour each other and those who came before us!
